We've bought a house in Florida but won't become residents till later in the year so getting a new skunkie will be delayed till the spring babies of 2018 show up.

We are experienced skunk parents however and at one time had 5 of which 3 were domestic and 2 wild childs.  One by one they have all gone to the Bridge and being currently in Alabama, no new ones till the move is completed.

Meanwhile we are enjoying all the photos and stories, on Facebook and now here.

Thanks, Maria.  I'm looking forward to attending the show in October.  It will be my first one and I'm really excited to be going.

Looking forward to seeing you there! It really is a lot of fun. Some people dress up their skunks. Mine are all rescues and I don't push my luck.

Keep in mind that once you become a resident of FL, you can get your class 3 permit. Please consider adopting a rescue skunk. We don't have enough experienced skunk owners to match available skunks.

I'll put anything in a dress!  Heck, I'd put an alligator in a dress! If I had an alligator!    I've printed out my permit application already, and refreshed myself with a lot of other printouts of helpful info.

Welcome to the group!!! You found the perfect place to ask questions and share knowledge. Speaking of sharing, I'm starting to get requests for info regarding the show. Last year our block of rooms filled up the week prior so anyone coming in after had to stay at another hotel. We didn't expect that but it seems people are taking advantage of a cheap vacay so they book early (including the family from England who times their vacation to the show). SO.....October 14, Ramada Gateway, Kissimmee, Fla 7470 Highway 192 (Irlo Bronson). The hotel will honor the rates the week before and after.....need to check but I believe it's $60 a night in the tower. Will post for sure....

Yes, the attachment attached!  Haven't decided yet if I'll stay at the motel or bring the motorhome.
